Moore Memorial library was established in 1904 with the support of the Nathaniel and Rachael Moore family. The library opened with a collection of 7,500 books. Today the collection has grown to over 50,000 books, 42 magazines, and 3 newspapers. We currently offer materials in print, audio, DVD, and electronic formats. The library offers an open Wi-Fi network and public computer access. In 2007, we received a NYS library construction grant that allowed the library to greatly enhance our juvenile section and collections. A twenty-seat computer lab was established in 2009. Currently, we offer free computer classes to the public. The library shares space with the local historical society and houses a museum with an extensive collection of local history. A fifty-seat community room is also available.

Moore Memorial Library provides current popular materials for all ages, purchases current reference and circulating materials to respond to the information needs of ourcitizens, and provides democratic access to important resources in our community.
